Anyone else having problems running herdprotect scan while VIPRE Active Protection in enabled?

1
I'm trying to run an initial herdProtect scan on a PC that has VIPRE managed AV installed with Active Protection enabled.

It seems that VIPRE is intercepting and blocking a lot of the herdProtect attempts to scan files.

What is the recommended method for using both applications on the same computer?

My guess is that a VIPRE deep scan should be allowed to complete, all of the quarantined files deleted, and then herdProtect can be run without constantly bumping into VIPRE Active Protection file access swat downs.

I was able to resolve the issue by first letting a VIPRE deep scan complete and then deleting all the quarantined files. After that I was able to run herdProtect without issues.
